DArt PArt

Let the record show that I watched the eyeball pop right out of his eardrum, gun in hand, firing what looked like tiny pit bulls from a glass slipper. "We were having dinner..." is supposed to be how this all starts, but...anyway...darts and parts...a schoolboy queues for food only on Wednesday.

"Arty way too sketchy"

I don't see the path but I foresee myself at the destination. This piece! Art! What is art? I find myself unable to articulate my understanding of it and so I figure this will make a worthwhile piece. This inability is weird because art is uniquely positioned to move people… Inspiring us, inciting new questions and provoking curiosity, excitement and outrage.

Cheeks called it expression; an outpouring of subjective experiences and emotions. Barbie says art is a science of capturing beauty; the conscious re-production of form (sounds, colours, movements or other elements) in a manner that appeals to the senses and emotions. Dennessey said art is "the ease and simplicity with which you bring who you are into whatever you're doing"… A selective recreation of reality according to an artist's metaphysical value judgments.

"Not another banger"

"One minute, a family, eating a cake for breakfast...next thing you know the father stops mid sentence and his eyes pop out...cake walks out, gun in hand...and...end scene"

Smart audience person..."well cakes give cavitys...the eye popping out is cliche"...turns out , smart audience person is a tooth... dressed in a tux.

"See where i'm going with this? No?" tooth in tux asks...

Cake is so confused..."wha...how...wh..how??"

bats love Sunday lunches.

notice it's cavitys because smart person is pushing the yyy so hard.

smart person is so smart, for a cavity of course.

Art is so diverse that there are as many ways to interpret it as there are people. Each one experiencing it through a unique lens…trying to make it their own.  Is that to say the essential criteria for anything, literally, to be considered art is its ability to tug at the hearts of people?  While the ability for the thought to engage the interest of an observer after it has been made manifest is a valid qualification, greater emphasis must be placed on the authenticity of the thought itself.

"Must avoid the frogman"

Man's profound need of art lies in the fact that his cognitive faculty is conceptual i.e. he requires knowledge by abstraction and needs the power to bring his widest metaphysical abstractions into his immediate perceptual awareness. How is it possible for us to take pleasure in an object that has no kind of connection with our desires? When an aesthetic perception occurs, will_i_am completely vanishes from consciousness, for by making the little things interesting, the artist addresses that inner life (devoid of desire) which is the real object of interest.

"Nah mean..?"

Is everyone born an artist and the task simply that of remaining one? With such notions would that mean our mistakes can be discredited as little ‘accidents’?  Are we living, breathing art, sipping courage juice just so creativity might flow?

"And see what happens, Alas! no lass...alone and ribless...coming to you on Wednesdays at five."

"There's room for twelve, and twelve more..." Humpty jumpTin with a solution.

"Enough, son of Egore...your chicks, they won't hatch anymore...sorry cheeks..."

"See sometimes, the divine redeems his own from foreign compounds...to avoid compounding the problem."

A solution.
